Status Bar

• Improvement: Added the percent change since previous close values to the status bar as shown in the following screen shot.

 

Symbol Info Window (New Feature)

• Improvement: The Symbol Info window was added as a new feature. The Symbol Info Window provides the following info:
1. A real-time snapshot of data for the symbol
2. Any available news for that symbol
3. A small pressure chart graphic for the symbol
4. Analyst and Financial Highlights for that symbol
• Access to the symbol information window is through the right click context menu entry “Symbol Info” in the context of any window that displays a symbol including the Watchlist, Market Depth, FX Board, Positions, etc. An example of the Symbol Info page is shown in the following screen shot.

 

Order Entry Window

• Improvement: Reviewed and revised all order templates to ensure consistency and readability.
• Improvement: Added a back button to the Order Entry window so that when switching to a new order template it will remember the previous order template you were on and allow you to return to that previous order template. The following screen shot highlights the new template back button.

 

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Order Entry window in the Basic Template where if you cycle through the Order Type button it would crash on selecting the TTO order type.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Order Entry window where cycling through the Advanced Order Types it was missing the Stop Market + Limit order type.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Order Entry window where some Plus order types were missing from the Plus Order Template. It was missing the following order types: Market+Stop Market, Stop Market +Limit, Stop + Trailing Stop, Limit +Stop Market.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Order Entry window preferences on the Order entry tab, if you set the default lots for less than 1 (i.e. 0,5) it worked for the current session, but after closing and reopening Desktop it is again set to 1 lot. This happened in the Lots preference, and in the spin increments.

Options Chain Window

• Improvement: Add the Greek values to the Options Chain window as shown in the following screen shot. These columns must be selected through the right click context menu entry “Add/Remove Columns”.

 

The Greeks values include Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and Rho and are defined as follows:

• The Greeks determine the rate of change in the option price by the change in the underlying stock price movement.
• Delta is the change in the option price for every $1.00 dollar move higher or lower of the stock price. Example: If the option is at $2.00 and has a Delta of .40 and the stock price moves from $20 to $21 then the option value will rise to $2.40.
• Gamma is the change in the Delta's price for every $1.00 dollar move higher or lower of the stock price. Example: If the option Delta is .40 and the Gamma is .03 and the stock price moves from $20 to $21 then the option Gamma will move up .03 to a Delta of .43
• Theta is the change in the options value of time decay (Time decay is the loss of premium or value on a daily basis). Example: Let’s say that the Theta is at .02 . If the stock price does not move that day you will lose $0.02 worth of option value.
• Vega is the change in the options value based on the change of the stocks volatility.
• Rho is the change in the options value based on the movements of interest rates.

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Chain window column sizing right click context menu entry where the column sizing would be overly wide when switching between Auto Column Width and Reset Column width.

Options Strategist Window

• Improvement: Add the Greek values to the Options Strategist when a strategy is selected as shown in the following screen shot.

 

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where selecting a Short Call Butterfly Spread produced an error: Not a valid options strategy or not permed.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where selecting the up arrow for the Qty field in the order entry at the bottom of the window does not correctly increment the contract quantity for a Long Call Butterfly strategy.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where if you selected a strategy and highlight the number in the Qty field in the order entry at the bottom of the window and then delete with the keyboard delete key and a pop up message appeared : type mismatch in update price. At that point you could not continue and you had to restart Pro to recover.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where if you change the strike to the very top or bottom value, change the expiry to "Near term 2", and try changing the strike again it caused a “Run-time error 0 or Run-time error 380: Invalid property value in IDE.”
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where if the Last was 0.0 the Submit button would be greyed out it is now active even if the Last is 0.0.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where if you executed a Long Call Butterfly and then closed the strategy by covering the shorts and selling the longs and then clicked on the Submit button it caused a “Run Time Error : 0 and the Option Strategist would freeze.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where if you opened any strategy and attempted to adjust the price at the order entry space at the bottom of the window, then after clicking (up/down arrow) the price almost immediately adjusts to the original value. This prevented the price from being changed.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where the conditional order price field was not automatically populated when you enter a symbol.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where the Up/Down arrows did not work in the order entry section, conditional order price field. Once the field was auto populated (after entering a symbol) one could delete the value and type a new value in the field, but clicking up/down arrows for that field would not change the value.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window Order Entry section where it shows a strategy as a Credit but once you submit the order it shows up in the Orderbook listed as a Debit.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window Order Entry section where setup price now defaults to the Bid/Ask instead of the Last price and the all Expiry defaults to the front month.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Option Strategist window where data for the symbol SPY does not display. When looking at SPY it would show data from the previously entered symbol such as DIA.

FX Board Window

• Improvement:
  Enhanced the PIP Spread Bar indicator on the FX Board to be more flexible and clearer with the following changes:
  • The PIP Spread Bar indicator is now three times taller to be more visible
  • The PIP Spread Bar indicator has been split into two end sections that work as previous and a new middle section that contains the actual PIP spread value.
  • The color of the Spread Bar indicator middle section is the same as the color of the major text value of the Bid/Ask values
  • The color of the text value in the Spread Bar indicator middle section is controlled in the FX Board Preferences by selecting the right click context menu, then in the first drop down in the Display Options by selecting the “Spread Bar Text” entry and changing the associated color bar.

The following screen shot shows the results of these changes:

 

• Improvement: Added an FX Board user preference to turn off the Position field if there is no position active for a symbol. The user preference can be changed by accessing the FX Board user preferences using the right click context menu and changing the user preference called “Position Off if None” as highlighted in the following screen shot.

 

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the FX Board Order Entry section window where when the TTO template is selected, the upper and lower trigger values do not change when clicking from symbol to symbol in the FX Board.

Market Depth Window

• Improvement: Added the PIP value to the Level I section of the Market Depth Window for Forex symbols as shown in the following screen shot.

 

Watch List Window

• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue where the Watchlist Preferences could not be accessed through the right click context menu Preferences entry.
• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watchlist window when viewing stocks the Volume column would show "N/A".
• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watchlist window in the Order Entry section where the Plus Order Template does not display the order entry screen properly for some order types such as Limit+Stop, Stop+Limit, Stop+Trail (and some others).
• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watchlist window where the CAD/JPY PIP value calculation was not consistent with all the other XXX/JPY pairs.

Managed Account Trading (MAT) Window

• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue where the MAT Window Preferences could not be accessed through the right click context menu Preferences entry.
• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue in the MAT Window when clicking from symbol to symbol in the Watchlist, the MAT window Order Entry would display the Limit Price from the previous symbol.

Baskets Window

• Bug Fixed: Fixed an issue in the Baskets Window when adding symbols and the window size limit is reached, a scrollbar would appear, but it did not keep focus on the last row entered, but focused on the top row, making it difficult to quickly enter symbols.

Account Balances Window

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Account Balances Window where switching between certain accounts the buying power value was being displayed incorrectly.

Positions Window

• Improvement: Added a new column "S/M" to the Positions Window, which stands for short and marginable (SM). This is the same as is in the Watchlist window.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Positions Window where number of contracts did not update when clicking on a position if there is only one position in the list.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Positions Window where sum of the Market Value column did not always display the sum of the positions for an account.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Positions Window where for Futures positions, Example: 5yr U.S. Treasury Note /ZFU0, was not calculating the P&L (Closed) correctly.

Order book Window

• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue where the "Cancel and Close Positions" erroneously appears in the Order book window.

Order Entry Window

• Improvement: Added the ability to set Conditional Orders to all order types for any asset type in the Oder Entry Window and the Options Strategist window. The order will not be submitted until the price of the conditional asset is hit.

• Bug Fixed: Watch list and basket edit controls disappear when spin button clicked.
• Bug Fixed: Corrected ask/bid/last to have all unique values in the Watch List.
• Bug fixed: MAT Fixed amount offset in Preferences for TTO orders.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watch list where after several hours of use the Watch list would go visibly blank but the data was still there.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watch list where the quotes for symbols do not appear immediately after populating the symbol field. You had to click away with a mouse for them to appear.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watch list where you click on a symbol and then click on the bottom edge of the Watchlist window and the window resizes just to the title bar. Similar issue if one clicks on the side edge, the window gets distorted.
• Bug fixed: Fixed an issue in the Watch List where it did not always display new real-time quotes.
