MB Trading's network was built to deliver the speed and reliability critical for direct access trading. Redundancy and scalability were built into all areas that affect performance.
MB Trading's server environment was built to support mission critical operations, complete with climate controlled rooms in a secured building.
MB Trading's server farm is housed in a Class 4 Networking facility and powered by redundant power supply units with back-up generators. These stand ready in case of power grid failures to provide power restoration quickly.
Each individual workstation on our trade desk and client support area is also powered by backup batteries and a backup generator. Going even further, all account information is mirrored; even in the unlikely event that one complete network fails, the system is designed so that the redundant network will immediately be connected to protect your orders and facilitate the execution of your trades.
The servers that make up our farm are designed with multiple back-up systems. A status monitor constantly watches every server in the network, checking for a stable connection. In the event of failure of any one server, your order will be routed to another server in the network. Furthermore, this extensive error-checking is backed by redundant data and execution lines.
Your quotes, subsequently, are received in a very timely fashion. Your account balances, positions, and quotes update instantly assuming the Internet path to your machine is clear.
