MBTR - Flat Rate
Our MBTR Plan offers flat fee, unlimited (up to 10,000 shares) trading with market and limit stock orders for the single rate of $4.95. Trades are routed through our proprietary MBTR routing engine, which is designed to give you maximum flexibility regarding commission costs. With flat fee trading, your orders go through an internalized order matching system, often resulting in price improvement compared to the current best market. Internalized order execution offers lower fees in exchange for reduced order representation. There are additional fees for orders over 10,000 shares, any order types other than market and limit orders, and orders placed during extended trading hours.
MBTX - Per Share
Our MBTX Plan offers sophisticated and proprietary order routing through our MBTX system, which sends your order to the exchange(s) with the highest bid or lowest offer. The system is used by professional, institutional, and active stock traders who want each share to be handled in a specific manner. The MBTX Plan is slightly more expensive than the MBTR Plan, but generally offers access to more liquidity and more order types. The cost is $0.0075 per share with a $4.95 minimum per trade.
Examples:
- 500 shares = $4.95
- 1,000 shares = $4.95
- 5,000 shares = $4.95
- 10,000 shares = $4.95
Examples:
- 500 shares = $4.95
- 1,000 shares = $7.50
- 2,000 shares = $15.00
- 5,000 shares = $37.50

*Effective June 29, 2009: The MBTR Plan is designed for market, limit, and stop orders during stock market hours when the greatest amount of liquidity exists in the market. Therefore, a surcharge of $0.005 per share applies to any trade with one or more of the following conditions:
